Mumsnet Giving Week 2015 launched!
10/06/2015
Today (Monday 8th June 2015), Mumsnet launched its second annual Giving Week in partnership with JustGiving, to shine a light on five important causes chosen by the Mumsnet membership, including Rape Crisis England & Wales.
During the week, until midnight on Sunday 14th June, Mumsnet will double all donations made through each of the five charities' specific JustGiving campaign pages (up to a maximum of £25,000), so there has never been a better moment to make a gift go a long way, no matter how large or small.
Donations can be made to Rape Crisis via our JustGiving Campaign page here: http://campaign.justgiving.com/charity/rapecrisisengland-wales/mumsnetgiving
Supporters are warmly invited to spread the word via word of mouth, e-mail, their website, Facebook, and Twitter using the hashtag #MNGiving, so we can make the most out of this exciting opportunity.

Lee Eggleston, Chair of Rape Crisis, said:
“We are delighted to have been chosen as one of Mumsnet’s charities for Giving Week 2015.
Rape Crisis organisations are currently facing unprecedented demand for their specialist support and advocacy services from sexual violence survivors throughout the country; the support and co-ordination we provide these organisations is more vital than ever at this moment.
Likewise, raising awareness and understanding of sexual violence has never been more crucial.
We’re so grateful that the Mumsnet community is supporting the needs and rights of sexual violence survivors in this way.”
