SERICC staff
SERICC has a team of 28 full and part-time staff and 4 sessional counsellors providing a wide range of services to adults, young people, and children.
SERICC is a women-led organisation and we work from a feminist perspective.
We actively seek to ensure equality of women as a service provider and as an employer. We have consultant male advisors and counsellors available in our team.
Counsellors and ISVAAs are supported by the provision of internal and external supervision and weekly peer review meetings.
All staff have access to ongoing training and professional development and reviews.
SERICC monitors and evaluates all work delivered for public benefit and collects data through a bespoke Data Performance Management System DPMS and the Rape Crisis England & Wales Outcome Framework.
We provide data and insights by collation of anonymous sexual violence statistical information which is used locally and nationally to raise awareness of sexual abuse and violence, inform the development and improvement of service provision.
SERICC has been professionally approved by Rape Crisis England & Wales in meeting the National Service Standards.
