Become a Trustee

Trustees play a vital role in supporting SERICC to deliver high-quality, specialist services to people who have experienced sexual violence and abuse.

As a Trustee, you will contribute at a strategic, non executive level, working with other Trustees to ensure SERICC staff team and the charity are well-governed, financially sustainable and responsive to changing needs, while remaining focused on providing safe, survivor-centred services.

What is the role of a Trustee?

  • Provide strategic oversight and direction

  • Ensure the charity meets its legal, regulatory and financial responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Management Team

  • Help safeguard SERICC’s values, reputation and long-term sustainability

  • Ensure services remain responsive to need and aligned with the charity’s purpose
