Over 200 visitors attended the event which included a range of stalls and information of support services and activities within Thurrock. 

 

Rebecca Price, Chairwoman of the Staff Forum stated "we have received some really positive feedback from attendees. There were local volunteers attending from community organisations who hadn’t been aware of the range of support and speciaist services available to women and girls in Thurrock. We hope they will spread the news further afield and make these important connections if the need arises”.

 

The theme for the day was #be bold for change. We asked women to send in suggestions for postcards to hand out on the day with information on how to contact SERICC and Changing Pathways. Copies of the postcards can be downloaded here.
