SERICC is recruiting Young People Counsellor
SERICC is recruiting a counsellor qualified to provide specialist counselling and support to young people from 13-25 years old who have experienced any form of sexual violence or sexual abuse. The full-time role includes one to one counselling, group work, partnership working and other sexual violence prevention activities to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence and abuse to other agencies and the wider community in Thurrock.
You will be working as part of the SERICC counselling team in our offices in Thurrock, provide outreach in schools, children’s centres and colleges, attend relevant meetings and events in the area.
This exciting opportunity has an immediate start date (subject to Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references).
The role is office based in Thurrock. We offer staff benefits including 30 days annual leave, 3% pension, access to workforce assistance programme and comprehensive training and support.
Salary: £27,741 - £29,577 (subject to experience) per annum.
